A Note from Bill Hibdon

Hello, Regretfully, I announce that Hibdon Hardwood, Inc. will cease business on November 1, 2023 after 45 years. We will fulfill all outstanding orders with customers and suppliers and will help our employees find new employment. The main reasons for closing are my age (I will be 80 early next year), and our very serious problem with the government of Mexico who seized a container of our wood over a year ago without reason or explanation which they still hold. Mexico has been the most important part of our business plan for over 25 years and we have lost confidence that they will follow their own laws. We are grateful to our employees, our customers and suppliers for the 45 years of success we have enjoyed along with them. We are sure their success will continue. We will spend the remaining months selling off our inventory of musical instrument parts, lumber, flooring and miscellaneous items as well as our woodworking machines, truck and dry kiln. Please contact us for an inventory of wood and machines.
