We take a seven foot long 4/4 board and cut two pieces 22-1/2" and one piece 32"-34" as shown here.

Then it goes to the horizontal re-saw and is cut into 4 equal thickness pieces. Each board yields two all Mahogany guitars. All 12 pieces are numbered with a prefix of "AG" and kept together. We have these sets available in many sizes from tenor ukes to jumbo guitars and with or without figure. There is a slight premimum on these sets because of all the extra handling they need to keep them together. You may buy one set or both sets from the same board, the reason only one set may be available is that sometimes hidden defects will eliminate a portion of the board. The advantages are many, one obvious benefit is that it is impossible to get a better color match.
